- Mission Hall Quilts spring classesMission Hall Quilts will be offering a range of classes to suit all levels in the spring term beginning in Mid-Late January 2010. Our fantastic quilting tutors Mary Good, Pauline Openneer and Rena Mc Clean have projects to suit all tastes, Jacqueline O'Doherty's Block of the month continues and a new 'Happy Scrappy Calendar ' block of the month begins. The open 'Quilting Bee' sessions will now take place on a Monday afternoon and the Linus Project returns (this is a free class where the quilts produced are donated to local children in hospital). We are also hoping to offer a range of varied taster classes on Saturdays throughout the term. Please see the timetable for further details.

You are eligible for the workshop as long as you live in the L'Derry or Strabane area, are not working at the moment, but want to work.
- Full Marks for Plans to Restore Historic SchoolAmbitious plans to breathe new life into a historic building within Derry's City Walls have been given 'full marks' by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), it was announced today. The Cresco Trust proposals to transform the disused London Street Cathedral School into a social enterprise centre received the support of the HLF and a grant award of £832,000.
Strive2Work
Strive 2 Work is a three week employability workshop offered by Cresco Trust in partnership with Business in the Community that can help you find and keep a job. You are eligible for the workshop as long as you live in the L'Derry or Strabane area, are not working at the moment, but want to work. The service is absolutely free and we will reimburse your public transport travel costs for each day that you attend. In partnership with Business in the Community we actively source job vacancies and guarantee interviews (with a selection of employers) to those who successfully graduate from the workshop.
